  • Proactively maintain and grow our customers which include commercial property owners and managers as well as residential homeowners.
  • Maintain current knowledge of our landscape and irrigation service with the ability to communicate those services effectively to current clients
  • Proactively promote and sell any possible landscape enhancements to existing customers.
  • Maintain exceptional client retention through effective communication, site visits with clients and board members and creation of team atmosphere between client and vendor.
  • Conduct and submit comprehensive property landscape audits to each assigned client.
  • Identify consumer needs and utilize solution-based techniques to fully demonstrate the value of Swift Lawn & Land Services
  • Work closely with operations leadership in all aspects of retaining and growing accounts

  • Deliver fantastic service to existing clients
  • Complete 7 weekly property audits during the growing season

  • 50 calls/emails 
  • Attend 1 lunch or happy hour with prospective clients

Irrigation Manager Role

You’ll have success here if you value clear processes and feel qualified to do the following things:

 

  • Perform initial irrigation inspection, providing detail analysis of system on all maintenance clients both residential and commercial
  • Draft inspection sheet showing items completed during initial inspection and repairs/upgrades needed
  • Analysis of controller/transformer, rain sensor and overall coverage
  • Breakdown of costs associated with needed repairs
  • Maintaining accurate irrigation inventory
  • Assist with sales of both contracted and uncontracted accounts as needed, providing an added resource to either the account manager or salesperson
  • Schedule irrigation audit, repairs and installations.
  • Complete irrigation quotes and proposals in Aspire. Making necessary change orders when requested 
  • Train and oversee other divisions technicians through quarterly technical service training meeting 
  • Ensure all paperwork filled out and recorded properly by technicians
  • Manager responsibilities such as: Hire additional technicians by performing phone screens and/or interviews, train the new crew members on safety, job responsibilities and process, perform reviews, and address all performance- based issues in a timely manager for development, growth and disciplinary action.
  • Handle technical service emergencies during non-business hours, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Ensure materials are ordered and delivered as necessary
  • Ensure all irrigation work tickets are scheduled for next 90 days
  • Keep crews under budgeted labor hours
